Are you living with crooked teeth because you hate the thought of unsightly braces?

Now you can achieve the lovely, even smile of your dreams, without anyone knowing that you are wearing braces. Once Invisalign is in place, all anyone will see are straighter and more attractive teeth.

1

Smile with confidence

The Invisalign system consists of clear, acrylic trays that gently straighten and ease your teeth into position. You will receive new trays to keep pace as your teeth straighten and become beautifully aligned. The great thing about Invisalign is they are virtually invisible, so you can smile with confidence while you’re wearing them.

2

Comfortable and hygienic

Invisalign straightens your teeth more comfortably than traditional braces. No metal brackets means no skin irritation or ulcers, plus the technology makes it easier to predict how long it will take to create even teeth, compared with traditional braces. It’s also better for your teeth as there’s nothing to trap food, so you can remove the trays to clean and floss your teeth as normal.

3

Fits your lifestyle

The Invisalign system won’t interfere with your lifestyle. You can remove them to enjoy a special occasion to the full. In most cases, you only need to visit your dentist every six to eight weeks.

FAQS

Invisalign is a highly discreet, virtually invisible and hygienic orthodontic treatment that uses an innovative approach to effectively straighten teeth.

With our proprietary SmartForce technology, Invisalign uses a series of custom-made removable aligners created for you and only you. Similar to how no two mouths are the same, all Invisalign aligners are uniquely designed for each patient. These aligners are made of a practically invisible plastic that are worn over your teeth to gradually move them to the ideal position.

Most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them, a huge advantage compared to traditional braces. Invisalign is available through Invisalign-trained dentists who develop a treatment plan according to your teeth’s individual needs with you.

Once your Invisalign treatment plan is finalised, your dentist will take photos, X-rays and either impressions/scans of your teeth to make a 3D treatment plan known as ClinCheck, which will be used to design the custom-made aligners. This plan will also show your likely final tooth position at the end of treatment.

Your aligners will be produced and then shipped to your dentist, who will then give you a series of aligners, typically three to four sets at a time. You will replace each one approximately every two weeks until the final position of your teeth is reached.

Like other teeth straightening approaches, Invisalign is an effective way to straighten teeth. There are several other specific advantages to your treatment:

  • Virtually invisible
Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces, giving you a practically invisible treatment option that helps to keep your confidence during treatment.
  • More comfortable
Invisalign is more comfortable than traditional approaches, with no metal brackets to irritate your gums or the inside of your mouth.
  • Maintain oral hygiene
Invisalign is removable making it easier to clean your teeth and maintain your oral health during treatment.
  • Potentially fewer dentist visits
Invisalign treatment typically requires fewer dentist visits than some types of braces.
  • Visualise the progressive movement
Invisalign treatment allows you to visualise each stage of the treatment process, from the beginning to the end. For some patients additional steps may be required to refine and complete treatment.

Invisalign looks similar to clear retainers, teeth-whitening trays or gum shields. A series of aligners are custom-made for you and each aligner will contain a patient identification number (PID number).

Invisalign isn’t only for straightening minor irregularities. It can also be used to treat a range of moderate to severe problems such as overcrowded or widely-spaced teeth, crossbite, overbite and underbite.
